Description
Untreated SCANT Timber – 47 x 75mm (Nominal) / 44 x 69mm (Finished)
This 3×2 SCANT timber is a kiln-dried, lightweight carcassing timber ideal for internal use. Unlike standard carcassing sizes, SCANT is machined to a smaller finished profile (44 x 69mm) but still offers excellent strength for general construction work.
It features square-cut edges (not eased) and is well-suited for stud walls, roofing projects, noggins, and general framing. Kiln drying improves stability and reduces the risk of twisting or warping.
